Before I decided to go all in on pursuing my dream of being a photographer, I was a college musician studying saxophone performance at the University of Northern Colorado. I was never the most talented musician but through my 10 years of experience in the performing arts I learned that hard work will always beat talent as long as you apply yourself. It's this approach that gave me the confidence to pursue photography despite the fact that I started out solely as a hobbyist shooting pictures of my friends on a vintage Polaroid. Since then I have shot professionally for 5 years, taking photos for a number of nonprofit organizations, most notably The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps whom I have toured with for three summers.
When I'm not taking photos you can usually find me in the outdoors, spending time with friends, or visiting a local coffee shop. I recently moved to Ohio from Colorado and I've been eager to explore what my new home has to offer.
